JENKYN PLACE BLANC DE NOIR 2010
A delicious wine with a compellingly 'moreish' character. Elegant, focussed and nuanced, it is on fine form and is really coming into its own now. 50% Pinot Noir, 50% Pinot Meunier.
A fresh nose of cashew nuts with notes of lime and ginger. On the palate there is a sensation of ripe pear, golden apple, baked bread and toast. Its great acid structure gives freshness, lift and length. There is plenty of complexity to follow as the wine already has stunning length, poise and detail on the finish – fascinating and delicious! Coming into its own now, this wine has a fantastic future.
Ready to drink now but will develop and can be laid down for drinking over the next 2-3 years.
An excellent partner for sushi, Thai and modern fusion cuisine.
The recommended retail price for a 75cl bottle is £35.50.
