A complex but accessible wine with delicate and concentrated red summer fruits – a blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay.

Tasting Note:
The 2009 vintage was one of the best ever and we kept back the ripest of the Pinot Noir for late picking at Jenkyn Place to make this delicious sparkling Rosé. The final blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay is now developing beautifully. The initial gently tannic structure of the wine in its early stages has given way to reveal a harmonious pallet of wild strawberry and cherry, with notes of jasmine and violet emerging after some time in the glass. After 6 years of drinking, this wine is just coming into its own and promises to develop even more detail and nuance for several years to come.

Ready to drink now but its concentrated fruit flavours will develop well over the next 2-3 years.

A perfect aperitif and an ideal match with canapés, smoked salmon and a range of seafood dishes.

The recommended retail price for a 150cl bottle is £70.00.
